The Wind That Shakes The Barley Review




Hi everyone! Today I will talk about the film "The Wind That Shakes The Barley" directed by Ken Loach. 
I think this film is very interesting to a certain point, because showed me a one reality that I don´t know, the reality from Irish people during the Irish civil war. 

 But, the film have a how many parts boring for that reason lose the storyline in many moments. In general, I don´t like the film, but I think that were more short, like one or one half hour, will better.

 My favorites character are Sinear and Damien O´Donovan, because they represent the real revolution spirit, the fight until the end for they ideal country an they don´t let the others persons, include the persons that they love, intervene in they ideas.

 My favorite scene have a relation with the previous, when  Damien dies before a firing squad commanded by his brother, Tommy O´Donnovan. It´s a very powerful scene, because represent the sense of the duty and honor, consequences of think different and the different ways that two brothers can choose.

    I think the same. What I share most is that it lasts a lot and is easy to miss.

Summer vacation (holidays)

  When I think in my best summer vacation, I remember this winter vacations. In this holidays, I visited with my mom the south of Chile, specifically in Purranque, a little town in ten region. In this little town I lived a big part of my childhood, because my parents from here and the most part of my family still live in the nears of the town. This vacations are special because I don´t visited the south of Chile in three years and I don´t see my family in all this time. I love the south of Chile, I love the towns, the people, the food and the landscaspe. In the future I would live here, because the peaceful this places give me it´s not compare with Santiago or other cities. In January I would go to the Torres del Paine with my school friends, this travel is very special because we are friends since twelve years ago. We buy the tent the last saturday and are very excited for the travel, because is the first time that we fly in a plane. I hope this travel it´s be wonderful...

My favorite food

It´s  very difficult choose a only one favorite food,  because I love many foods, but If I think a little more, my favorite food is spaghetti with pesto and cheese grated. I think this food is amazing, because the spaghetti is the best food ever, for me, and the pesto and cheese grated deliver a wonderful taste. I love the other plates of spaghetti, like spaguetthi with salse, spaguetti with cream or spaguetti with egg, but spaguetti with pesto and cheese grated is the best. I knew the spaguetti with pesto and cheese grated in the university. The first time that I eat this plate  was very incredible, because I love the taste of pesto. Since this day, I love eat this plate and I hope every day for eat again. The combination of tastes is attractive for the palate and If you want properly appreciate the flavor, you should press the food against your palate and you will feel completely the taste. The best vacation ever

The best vacation ever for me happen this winter vacation, I went to the south of Chile with my mom. We were there for ten days and was a awesome experience, because I can saw a part of my family that I never saw in three years. We had travel together for different parts like Frutillar, Valdivia, Purranque, Osorno, Corte Alto etc. It is a wonderful experience because I strengthen the bond with my grandmother, my uncle, my aunts and my cousins. The first and the last day we celebrated birthday parties, first the birthday of the best friend of my mom and last the birthday of my grandmother. And yes, I eat a lot of food and go up many weight, but worth it. Some days I went with my cousin go all over for Purranque, the town where she lives, and know her friends, they are very funny and nice.
